LEADING THE WAY IN
OFFICIATING EXCELLENCE

OUR MISSION

To enlighten, educate, train, and certify 9th to 12th graders (male and female), in the trade of becoming youth flag football officials.

OUR STORY

The American Youth Flag Football Officials Association (AYFFOA) is committed to training the next generation of youth flag football officials. Our elite online program equips participants with essential officiating skills, from game rules to effective communication, while connecting them to employment opportunities nationwide. More than just a training course, AYFFOA fosters leadership and life skills, preparing young officials for success both on and off the field.

MEET THE MENTOR

SETH MIDDLEMAS
Seth Middlemas, Official in Chief (OIC) and co-founder of AYFFOA, began his officiating career at age 12 as a little league baseball umpire. His focus shifted to softball in high school, and by 2011, he became a registered umpire with the Amateur Softball Association, participating in regional and state tournaments. Seth also began officiating youth flag football in 2011 and earned rookie of the year honors in 2012 with the Temecula Valley Football Officials Association.
